We offer FREE UK DELIVERY on all orders over £25.00. Orders under £25.00 will be subject to a standard £4.50 shipping charge.

Once we receive your order, we will send an email confirming your order and ship your items the next working day.


To ensure your items arrive safely and securely, we ship all orders containing jewellery via Royal Mail Special Delivery for guaranteed next day delivery (Mon - Fri).


Royal Mail Special Delivery is a fully insured and traceable delivery service. You will receive an email confirming your tracking number so you can track your order with Royal Mail Track & Trace.


A signature will be required on delivery. 

We can provide international delivery at an additional cost. Please contact us by email to obtain a quotation for international delivery outside of Europe, USA or Australia before placing your order. Customers who place an order on the website for delivery outside the UK without contacting us for a quotation beforehand, will be contacted within 24 hours with a shipping cost. 


If you have chosen an additional bespoke service like sizing, we will ship your order within 7 days.

If you change your mind about your purchase and want to return your item, please contact us by email within 14 days of receiving your goods to request a return. The item must be returned to us unworn and unaltered, in the original presentation box with the tamper-proof security tag still intact and undamaged for a full refund,

Items should be returned to us using Royal Mail Special Delivery shipping with full insurance. Please remember that until the item is received by us, you are still liable for the goods so we strongly recommend that you ensure the correct insurance cover is in place when posting. We are not liable for any associated shipping and packaging costs for this type of return.

All bespoke services such as sizing will be exempt from the returns policy


If you have used our bespoke sizing service and you decide to return the item, the additional costs of resizing the ring will not be refundable. You will be entitled to a full refund on the cost of the item only, not on the additional costs of sizing. For example, if you purchase a ring for £200 and have the ring sized for an additional £40, if you decide to return the item to us you will only be entitled to a refund on the cost of the ring at £200. No refund will be given on the £40 resizing service (sizing costs vary depending on item, please contact us for a quote).

If you have placed an order for items that have not yet been dispatched, please contact us by email as soon as possible to cancel your order and receive a full refund.

Returns will not be accepted after 14 days. 

This policy conforms to the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 and does not affect your statutory rights.


Hicklings Jewellers offer a part exchange service in which you can use your current hallmarked gold or platinum jewellery against the price of an item on our website.


Please contact us by email at with details of the item you are looking to part exchange and we will be happy to respond with an offer of exchange. To assist us in making an offer, we kindly request that you supply clear, detailed photographs of the item where possible. Following your initial offer, we will ask you to send the item to us by recorded delivery for a physical inspection. We are not liable for any shipping or packaging costs when sending the item[s] to us for an inspection.

Please be aware that any offer we make is subject to change based on a physical check of the ring, after which a final offer of part exchange will be made. Upon acceptance of the offer, any outstanding balance against the price of the new item is to be paid in full prior to shipment. 


In the event that an offer is not accepted, we will post the item back to you fully insured using Royal Mail Guaranteed Special Delivery the next working day.
